Lisa Johnson

About Me

Born in Australia, Lisa relocated to London 22 years ago to embrace all things cultural,
ancient and artistic. This world started in hair and makeup artistry and moved into music,
events, production and music tour managing. Her artistic and logistical disciplines worked
harmoniously side by side and her career flourished. Lisa’s love for photography developed
and increased into observational stills with pictures being represented by The Photolibrary
and Getty Images. Lisa was then led into filmmaking. In 2009, Lisa produced George Michael’s
documentary, “I’d know him a mile off” and also made a short film detailing sick and premature
babies for The Winnicott Baby Unit, Imperial College in 2010.

Sochi Strays

During the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Lisa encountered the strays and this with her love of dogs inspired her latest work.
She has teamed up with LAPA, a young animal welfare charity, who’s aim is to end animal suffering and reduce the numbers of stray dogs in Russia.

Lisa moved to London from Australia in 1991 and wanted to capture everything that made an impact on her as she was seeing it for the first time. This began the love of travel and street photography. Taking pictures of the everyday happenings that are singularly perfectly beautiful moments.
